Competition Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to SnapShot Photography Club's monthly contest! Each photographer may submit ONE photo per category (Wildlife, Portrait, and Astronomy), so anyone can submit a max of 3 submissions photos. All file submissions need to be either in JPEG or PNG format only, with file sizes between 2MB and 10MB, and dimensions between 1920x1080 and 3840x2160 pixels. Other formats such as RAW, GIF, or TIFF will not be accepted.

All photos must be your own original work. Images such as stock photos, AI-generated images, or photos taken by others are strictly prohibited and will be removed and disqualified. You must own all rights to the submitted photograph and by submitting, you confirm that you hold full copyright and permission to use the image in our contest.

Basic photo editing such as exposure adjustment, contrast, color correction, and cropping is allowed and encouraged, however, heavy manipulation, compositing, or adding/removing major elements from the photograph is not permitted as we want to celebrate authentic photography.
